Participation

We are living in a reality that complains about childhood obesity, and then they comment that every player should not be rewarded unless they are good enough to win.

The people that have the most to say on the topic, are the same people that don’t participate when they are afraid they will lose.

I agree that lack of effort should not be rewarded, and I also believe that participation is the most important part of life. If it takes a trophy to encourage your kid to join in, reward them!

Not everyone is internally motivated, and if it takes a little external motivation to encourage others to compete and grow, It is worth it.
