Smash Equilibrium (infinite grapple)

Nash equilibrium is a concept in game theory where both players reach a stable state. Where neither can improve their outcome without changing their strategy. This applies to grappling when two grapplers reach stalemate.

This idea can be applied to forcing your opponent to change strategy as well. Think about it, if the two of you are stalemated, but your opponent is more uncomfortable than you, they will have to change their strategy first, because they are more uncomfortable.

We have made the smash, and the pain another variable. that forces vulnerability and adjustment in your opponent.

Some of my favorite techniques for this strategy include, North South smother, knee on belly, and pretty much any other technique that attacks their posture.
