We live in a world that has a scale that is relative to our experience.

Therefore when we experience something that is beyond our ability to understand, to understand we have to put it in terms that we can understand, like a multiple of something else.

For example, what does a million of something look like. You can’t even imagine it. Let alone a billion or a trillion.
