Pendulum

In politics the pendulum of popular opinion seem to swing back in forth through time.

My fear is that those currently in power are setting themselves up for failure when the winds of acceptable thought changes.

Those in control of the social power seem to be waging a war on entrepreneurs and religious individuals. They are discriminating against and enforcing rules that limit the opportunities of groups of people.

The pendulum is changing directions, it is already fashionable for the popular kids to wear crosses in middle school.

When people with differing opinions gain the same power, they will remember how they were treated.

When you have power over others, please be kind.
