Participation Trophy

I do love a blue ribbon, but I also love a participation trophy.

I love that the kid that is not able to win a wrestling match continues to show up, despite the fact that he is getting trounced every day.

I like the fact that there are kids that are more excited about orange wedges at halftime, than the score of the game.

I think the lack of engagement in our youth should not be met with criticism by fat guys that remember winning more than they did. It should be met with celebration of involvement.
