Honesty

Honesty is the my favorite form of communication.

To be clear, it is not because of any moral high ground, it just makes life easier.

With the information is out in the open, the best decisions can be made by all parties involved.

The more important aspect for me is that there is a lot of responsibility in telling a lie. You have to remember what untruths you told to what people, and keep up with who they might have told. In addition, if the shit ends up hitting the fan, it is the liars fault. The situation could have been avoided if only everyone had accurate information.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not going to over-share. But if someone asks me a direct question, I will admit my decision, and explain the reason for my action.

Once a reputation for telling the truth is built, people won’t ask you questions that they don’t want to know the answers to.

It is freeing, try it.
