Evolution

Evolution is more that a topic for scientists to argue with Religious folks.

Evolution is a paradigm that if things change the individuals will progress or they will not continue.

The progress is through achieved variation, and being different than those around you. Diversity.

The thing that people forget is that in order for variation to cause progress, there has to be a culling. There will be death for the less advantageous variations, or at least a lack of reproduction.

Be careful to judge traits as good or bad, there are many examples of mutations or variations that appear to be less powerful, that end up being very advantageous. Like the lizard that lost its legs and had to slither, the snake is a widespread animal that is thriving. Another example is the monkey that lost it’s powerful muscles which allowed them to grow a more powerful brain and work together for defense, and here you are now.

Let the weirdos be weird, and be variant from the others. We will probably die either way, but wouldn’t that be cool if your weirdness was the next step of our evolution?
