Entertain God

If God is omniscient (all knowing) and omnipotent (all powerful), then nothing that happens could every be a surprise. God has created, knows, and can control all the variables. This makes all of the universe appear to be a snapshot.

How could God make this universe something more than just a pretty picture? Add a variable that he can not or chooses not to control.

My theory is that our consciousness is that variable.

With the addition of this variable, God has now created time, a known past, and an unknown future. We are in effect God’s video game, we are the piece of the game that makes the universe entertaining.

So what is your responsibility to God?

1. Be Entertaining.

   • Be funny

   • Make interesting decisions

   • Do awesome things

   • Explore and try to understand the sandbox that is reality

   • Use the building blocks that make up this reality to create things that have not been seen before

2. Don’t squash other people’s ability to be entertaining God

   • Teach other people to entertain God

   • Don’t abuse power that limits other people’s options.

However, if God is not omniscient or omnipotent, then we are nothing but a happy accident. ‘Star stuff’ that has come together in an interesting way.

So what is our responsibility to happy accidents?

1. Continue evolution, so humans can become something better than what we are.

   • Make interesting decisions

   • Do awesome things

   • Explore and try to understand the sandbox that is reality

   • Create things that have not been seen before

2. Encourage Diversity

   • Teach other people to diversify therefore enforcing evolution

   • Don’t abuse power that limits other people’s options.

Challenge accepted
