Be realistic about the value you are bringing.

Do you provide organization, insight, resources, effort. Or are you providing entertainment, perspective, support and comradery.

If you can’t think of how you are improving the state of things, then step back and make sure you are not making other people’s work more difficult.

Then find a way that you can provide value, or support those that do.
