Planned Obsolescence

Planned Obsolescence is the strategy of making things in a way that they break, so consumers will buy more.

There are benefits to this strategy, such as progress. They have created an artificial motivation to make a better product.

There is also a very large drawback, and that is the waste and greed of this consumerism.

How can we keep the benefits while eliminating the drawbacks of this process?

If we can combine a better recycling program, using the raw materials with additive manufacturing. The waste is gone, and the ease of progress can be maximized through new designs and better 3D prints.
