What is the difference between friends you are comfortable with, and friends that you are excited about?

The difference is how much effort you put into impressing them, and how much effort they put into impressing you.

Do you want to matter more to someone?

Increase dependability. To do this you need to provide the thing they depend on. Look at their language of love and what they value, then provide that thing.

Here is some advice for Mr. Friendzone! If the relationship is becoming boring because they depend on you for too much, or for something you don’t want to provide?

Limit being depended upon by being less dependable, more spontaneous, and provide constraints or barriers to the support you will provide.

Be yourself and be confident in what you bring to the table. Dependability should be balanced with boundaries. What you can depend on me for and what you can not.
