Balance (attack skill)

In this context balance is positioning yourself in a way that you can attack whenever an opponent leaves an opportunity. Your are not over extended in any direction, and you know where the opponents attacks are coming from.

Balance can also be viewed as the coiled spring, ready to release the built up tension.

Whether this is seen as footwork while striking, posture while grappling, or having your gun cleaned and loaded.

Balance is the body awareness, preparation, and understanding of your tools capability.
