Why do we push for everyone to vote?

It seems that those are concerned with the topics at hand will opt-in to having their voices heard.

This process of encouraging everyone to vote is the process of encouraging those that are easily manipulated to dilute the purpose of those that care.

It opens a door for the unthinking hordes to overthrow the will of the people.
