4th Dimension Attack

Fights are easy when you are more skilled than your opponent, but what do you do when the skill sets are matched or you are need to fight despite that fact that you are not as skilled.

4th Dimension is an approach to fighting when you are not sure you will win. It is also a plan that will help you improve more quickly and become a more well rounded combatant.

  • Sectors (angles) - the sectors are not just angles of attack, they have associated focuses that will make them more affective.

    • Resolve (Durable) - Prioritize, Flexibility and Inside Position

    • Chaos (Villainous) - Creativity and Moral Ambiguity

    • Fear (Bully) - Patience and Uncomfortable Opponent

    • Leverage (Gravity Magic) - Body Tension and Frames

    • Agility (Untouchable) - Flanking Angles and Syncopation

    • Strategy ( ) - Retreat and Chosen Location

    • Precision (Assassin) - Pinch and Compress

How this model is used

  • Definition -

    • This is like a personality test.

    • What variables and therefore what sector do you prefer to attack from, and what skills will help you thrive.

    • Furthermore what variables and skills is your opponent attacking from, and what angle of attack will they likely be using.

  • System -

    • By understanding the system and model, you can formulate a plan going into training and competition.

    • Mobility within the system will show kinks in your opponents armor by attacking from different angles.

    • Building your skill set in all areas will you to be a more well rounded combatant.
